So I'm getting impatient with this problem, and decided I'm going to drain the system and refill with the front end raised etc. and make sure once and for all that it is bled properly. When draining the expansion tank I looked inside and saw a piece of plastic loose inside - took it off and got this out of the tank.




It appears to be part of the tube that runs from the bottom of the tank to the bleed screw. Am I correct in assuming that if this tube is broken then I cannot properly bleed the system? - Of course the expansion tank is about the only part I didn't replace when I did the radiator because the one I ordered was damaged in transit. Anyway,I'll be going to the dealer tomorrow to get a new one and hopefully it will solve my problem - what do you think?
