Ok here's a new twist to this problem....
I have the black screen and radio go out after two minutes but ONLY when the outside temp is around 40 degrees. Not warmer, not colder. I can go out on a 10 degree morning and it's fine. I can go out on a 80 degree day and it's fine. I only have the problem in the spring and fall. It's been fine all summer but sure enough, that first 40 degree morning and bang, does it again. AAAAHHHHH.....
I do have a TV module and occasionally, it will run the monitor instead of the Nav unit. I know you will stil want to say the Nav unit, and it's possible since I've unplugged it many times before powering down, (never knew!) and have upgraded from MK2 to MK3 and done firmware updates. But WHY only at 40 degrees!!
