Subject: d2 'CAN message' (what's that?)

referes to the CANbus a databus between different modules.

When the output shaft sensor in our 740 started to go south that was one of the messages I would get, why, I don't know, but we checked all the connections and did not find a bad one. Fixed the sensor and the CAN warning went also.

as a datapoint, I could NOT get my 750 to run on 19Lbs injectors, drove and sounded like and old tractor. I eventually yanked them out and stuck the old ones back in. I think I had a bad injector as there are plenty other folks here that have had good luck with 19 Lbs injectors.

have u tried disconnecting, and blocking off, all the extra hoses going to the inlet manifold? I seem to remember when we hoses the engine down with water and we had moisture in the sparkplug wells, we would get some of your messages above and get an awful fuel smell. You have however changed most of this. any chance for a bad connector or wiring from the injectors to the DME?
