I experienced a lot of rough idle issues (and sluggishness issues) with my car for a long while. Glad they are behind me..

My steps:

- Replaced fuel filters. Immediate improvement, if you haven't, DO IT
- Clean spark plug wells, spark plug boots
- Fresh air filter
- Cleaned ICV
- Cleaned TB
- Cleaned MAF
- Took off intake manifold and wiped it down, there was lots of oil

All of these are free (except air filter + fuel filters which cost like 30 bucks) and netted me a large improvement. The only things which didn't afford me much change (if any) were cleaning the MAF and dumping in some techron in the tank.

But if you are having issues with bad mixtures, I'd say clean the MAF. I'd advise using CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner...many have used rougher solvents, but I wouldn't!

I assume you replaced the fuel injector o-rings? When you bought the fuel injectors, were you given a flow sheet for them? Most re-builders do, I wouldn't bother with anyone who doesn't..

Also, I take issue with "shogun troubleshooting"..the tips he has are intended to prevent you from blindly replacing parts and hoping the issue goes away
