What do you need to know, this is quite a complicated engine to say the least?

Firstly what caused the problem and has it been corrected?

The V8 head gaskets are a relatively big job to do, but still straightforward depending on level of skill. You will need new set of torque to yield head bolts as you cannot reuse those. The cam timing needs a special tool during reassembly and the exhaust manifolds are a pita to get off.

New gaskets for the intake manifold and exhaust manifold are reccomended as well as a new PCV if it hasn't been changed already. A set of Torx wrenches and small hands will be needed. The engine is all aluminium and easy to damage, get a repair manual for your car and follow the instructions exactly.
