Subject: E39 ABS/DSC System puts all 4 brakes on

The Car 540I E39, registered in 01/98 (BW73285). Currently both DSC (on Button & Yellow triangle with a Circle round it) light and ABS light are on, After 30 - 40 minutes of using the car all 4 brakes slowly apply themselves to the point where they actually stop the car, trust me it won’t move. It then takes 25 odd minutes to dissipate and we start again, this is the problem.
What I have done to try and solve the problem:- All 4 ABS Sensors have been replaced the problem remains. It seems the pump has a pressure switch on it this has been unplugged the problem remains, I have swapped the pump with a later model pump (with inbuilt pressure switch) the problem remains, I sent the Bosch ABS DSC Control unit (pt Number 34.51-1 164 241) to ECU Testing for check and repair and it has a clean bill of health, nothing wrong with it. It has been in teh garage and they do not know what is wrong with it.
Things I will be checking next:
The ABS Wheel rotors in each hub, if I can borrow an endoscope
The module under the seat, check price and renew if necessary.
..... I am now stumped. I do not know the system well enough, I have the TIS Software but the model seems to be between systems, I have checked for a box under the right hand dash, no joy. I do not know how the DSC works and if it receives a dodgy signal why would it put all 4 brakes on.
Any help anyone can give me would be great..Has anyone had the problem?
Thanks
Paul
