MK-II Nav Computer fails again!

I had a blank screen and problems with the radio,(turned off) after few minutes on my 2000 540i. I purchased a used MK-II on ebay. I received it and installed on my car 4 days ago. It is working fine until today, when it is showing the same problem, blank screen and radio go to standby mode. What can be happening? Do you know if there is some way to bypass the computer to use the radio and display or if there is some place that can repair these computers?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
