There are some eject button tricks that worked with the older MKx nav computer. One, I think, was holding the eject button while you turn the car on. But, my guess is that your nav computer is totally failed and my not be powering up. You may have to disassemble it to remove the disk.

Yes, all of the audio/entertainment modules are connected in a big fiber optic loop (the MOST bus). If you remove one, then the whole system goes down. That is the reason that one bad component can crash the whole system.
