Ladies and Gents,

Lately i have experienced some trouble wth my navigation system on my 05 745li.

when I move the Idrive button to the right (navigation) the computer shows a message in the top left corner " initializing...". nothing happens and then a white blank screen shows up with the music cut off for about 5 seconds.

This cycle repeats itself everytime I try to check on the navigation.

oh and I just got the new DVD map 2009.1 but I am unable to "eject" the DVD


is there anyone on this board who has experienced the same problem?

any ideas as to what it may be?
