BMW r now whining about me updating the NAVI01 to NAVI02 as they cannot reprogram the car.
I saw the unit listed on the screen when I looked at what was installed on the cars bus so I would have thought the car recognised the unit.
It stops someway when they are updating the cars software not the nav software.

This is the same dealership which has now had my car for over 8 weeks to find the old "recharge battery" fault. They replaced the door solenoids when I told them I had read somewhere on here that, someone had sorted their car.
They need to reprogram after doing the above with the doors!!!

They reckon they(BMW) have spent 1000's on parts and still haven't fixed a strange knocking sound from the OSF when going over bumps.
Now changing the steering rack after investgations by BMW in Germany. My dealership sent them pics and parts to investigate the problem
The dealership has now had my car longer than I have :-)
