by this I mean something that is turned by the belt....
While it is cold... take the belt loose/off and start car --- if it quiet, you know it is not internal just related to the belts, idler, fan clutch or maybe even the alternater. Something caused the brackets to break..you just haven't found it yet.
Did you feel each item while the belt was off - did they turn freely - no binding or bad/rough bearing feel.
The water pump and fan clutch has no wobble or rough feel to them???
Try again and go slow with your checks - you will find the problem.
