Subject: Yeah, your right. But something weird is happening and I'm worried (long)

After changing the pump, it idles fine for a little bit and then a weird vibrating sound starts to happen, when it gets loud, I'll rev the engine (in the driveway) and it'll go away. I'll do this over and over again. I've filled the reservoir and turned it lock to lock and it seems fine and then the noise would start again.
Now when I try to start it, an ugly noise and the engine wont turn. I'll try a couple of times and then it starts. Runs fine and then the noise, I rev it and it goes away, at idle it comes back. When I let idle this last time, the engine stopped running. try to start and the noise again and no start. Kind of like the starter is engaged but the engine wont turn. I can turn all the pulleys by turning the fan clutch with a 32 mm, they all turn.

I hope to god its not an internal engine problem. Makes me think why did the power steering pump brackets break in the first place?
tomorrow I am going to take the belt off completely to see if it is internal and i will also turn the pump by hand to see if their is resistance. it should spin freely, right?

I feel sick....

This is what I found when I took the bottom engine cover off

here is the pump out of the car

The pulley system

New pump installed
