Subject: What were your symptoms before you did this Aux Fan?

The reason I ask is because, when I turn on my AC, it works great absolutely no problem but:
- outside temp 70F
- Aux fan not running
- I just did the entire cooling system with new fan clutch/fan blades, so that engine fan alone actually pulls quite a bit of air inward.
- engine temp gauge perfectly at 12 o-clock

AC runs cold.

So the AUX Fan is only needed at idle, at speed above 20mph, there is enough wind blowing, thus the function of the fan is useless whie cruising.

In my previous E23, every time I turned on the AC, the AC fan runs making so much noise that I removed the relay. Car ran fine, absolutely no problem, no overheat....I guess the engine fan pulls enough air in anyway.
