should be three bolts holding the base of the shift selector assembly to the car. Remove those three bolts and lift it up. You may have to disconnect a wire cable, too, that links the selector to the transmission below.

Once the base with the shift selector has been removed, there are two screws on its side and one large bolt at the bottom of the "V". Remove them and you can slide in a new NSS.

Incidentally, I have a brand new NSS that I bought for my car but didn't need. The dealer wouldn't take it back. Let me know if you're interested -- I'll make you a good deal on it.

Also, before going to the trouble of removing the NSS, unplug the large white plastic connector for the wiring harness and plug in the new one to test it "in-circuit" first. If your NSS is not actually the problem, this step will reveal it and save you a boatload of time.
