the abs pumps internal wiring sucks balls but if you are GOOD with a soldering iron you can fix it for a few bucks, when you start getting codes for valves in the pump the wiring is shot, when i say wiring i am being generous this crap is basicly some foil and plastic laminated together, which is the problem, a while back i figured out how to rewire it with real wire and have since done a shit load of them and even supply a couple shops with them

i use 22 gauge solid insulated copper wire avalable at radio shack and most electornics supply places, stranded wire works but is harder to run in the small space you have to work in, get two different colors to keep it simple and a couple foot of each should be more then enough, i run all of the solenoid wires leaving them a little long then connect them all to the plug at the same time, this is not a repair for those who haven't mastered soldering.

forgot to mention the cover is held on usually with #30 torx and the plug slides out when you get the cover off, you do need to remove the pump from the car
